East Jakarta LH Deploys 500 Personnel Ahead of New Year

The East Jakarta Environment (LH) Sub-agency will be deploying 500 of its personnel to avoid crowds during year-end holiday period.

Some will be spread to other points by mobile

East Jakarta LH Sub-agency Head, Wahyudi Rudianto said, those personnel would be posted at 11 main points of concern used as New Year's Eve celebration. It based on previous years' experience, being a place for crowds and potentially leaving trash.

"Some will be spread to other points by mobile," he said, Wednesday (12/29).

KBT Area is Completely Closed on New Year's Eve

According to him, those 11 main points were areas of TMII, Jalan Pemuda, Jalan Matraman Raya, Jenderal Urip Sumiharjo Jatinegara, Jalan Soemarmo, Pasa Rebo Flyover, Klender Flyover.

Jalan Raya Pramuka, PGC Cililitan intersection to in front of Kramat Jati Market, KBT area, starting from MC Donald intersection to Cipinang Indah.

"We also set up mobile toilets at Pangkalan Jati intersection and in TMII area," he furthered.

Aside that, some vehicles were also alerted to clean up trash at the location, like 11 units of big typer, 14 units of panther cross car, 10 units of sweeper and 10 motor carts as back up.

"They all start alert at 11 PM to the morning," he stated.
